"To Patti C / Falling Away"

Hello Patty, I like your take on it.
Rev 12:5  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
The Greek word for "caught up to God" in Rev 12:5 is harpazo, the same as used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 "shall be caught up"
Jesus wasn't violently caught up as in the rapture, He finished talking with His Apostles and then ascended into the clouds with the Apostles looking on, the same way the two witnesses will ascend with their enemies looking on,but the rapture is in the twinkling of an eye.
This man child is caught up to God so as not to be killed by the dragon, Jesus was killed before ascending to Heaven.
I havn't studied on this Patty, so like you it's how I see it just now.
Blessings from Your brother in Christ

"TO JOHN TOO / FALLING AWAY"
Hi John!

I really enjoyed you letter about the falling away, and how the verses refer to “he”, and that certainly would not represent the  faith of believers, but the Holy Spirit, and Holy Spirit filled believers.  What flashed into my mind when I read what you said was that the “he” is the Manchild of Revelation 12!!  That would be a definite HE!!  We are going through the birth pangs leading up to this birth, and we shall soon be delivered!!

The dragon stands in front of the Woman waiting for the Child to born and devour him, but the Manchild is caught up to heaven to be with the Lord.  Many believe the Manchild to be Jesus, but I just do not see it that way.

To me the Manchild represents all born again believers that have been saved since Christ’s first coming and the start of the Church.  The Church was born out of Israel, the woman, and, will be caught up to heaven before the Great Tribulation when Satan goes after the woman, (Israel), and the remnant of her seed, which are all other Tribulation saints.  Jesus is already in heaven, and we will be caught up to meet him in the air, and be with Him forever.

That is just my take on it.  Thank you for pointing out those scriptures and how the “he” gives them a whole new dimension!!  In case anyone missed it… here is your letter again, below.

Many Blessings to you!

Your sister in Christ,

Patti C.
