Let me try to re-describe my description of the end times scenario from my above article in an effort to answer the questions you brought up after reading it.First of all God raises His own end time army to be used during the tribulation period. We find this out in Ezek.37, Joel 2:1-11 and Revelation 9:13-19.In Ezek.37 we find that God resurrects from the grave hundreds of millions of descendants of Jacob that have died over the centuries. God describes it as "the whole house of Israel". Israel was the original name for Jacob so God is saying all of Jacobs descendants from Jacobs time until our present time which takes in thousands of years.When are these hundreds of millions of descendants from Jacob resurrected? They are resurrected at the same huge resurrection when Jesus' gentile bride is taken in the rapture. Let me list what happens at this huge combined resurrection at the opening of the sixth seal.1) The "dead in Christ" (those who have accepted Jesus and His sacrifice who have died over the centuries) and we the "alive in Christ" (those who are living now and have accepted Jesus) will be gathered together in the clouds to meet Jesus, Our Savior, and will be taken to a place of safety by Our Lord for the tribulation period.2) Hundreds of millions of descendants of Jacob will be resurrected from their graves at the same time and receive their resurrected bodies (Ezek.37) but only 144,000 of them (God's first fruits), 12,000 from all the tribes of the children of Israel will be restored to consciousness at that time and sealed with the mark of the Father on their foreheads (Rev.7).The rest (hundreds of millions) will have their bodies restored but will not have conscious life blown back into them until God gives the command to four angels (Rev.7, Rev.9:13-19) who are holding back the four winds (Ezek.37, Rev.7) from blowing consciousness back into them. These angels have been instructed by God not to release the four winds to restore consciousness to these hundreds of millions until the specific hour, day, month and year is correct. These hundreds of millions who comprise God's own huge end time army (Ezek.37, Joel 2:1-11, Rev.9:13-19) will have been put in the "pause mode" until God's correct time in the great tribulation scenario is reached.In Rev.9:13 God releases the four angels to accomplish their task allowing the four winds to restore consciousness to this "exceedingly great army" of 200 million (Ezek.37:10, Rev.9:16). This 200 million man "army of God"(Joel 2:11) has been assigned to kill a third on mankind or over 2 billion people. God's troops are resurrected spirit beings who I believe will be impervious to being killed (Joel 2:7-8) This army needs no fuel, no rest, no transportation, no re-supply, no anything. They ride on horses (Joel 2:4, Rev.9:17) with heads like lions that are fire breathing like flame throwers. A third of mankind is killed by the fire, smoke and brimstone coming from the mouths of these horses. The tails of the horses have heads like snakes which do harm.Can you imagine God's army of 200 million resurrected beings riding fire breathing horses eradicating with fire everything in their path. Not breaking ranks, unable to be killed (Joel 2:8) with no need of rest or re-supply, going from country to country killing 2 billion people and cleansing the earth by fire. Unimaginable horror on an unimaginable scale...... or...... justice and righteousness dispensed by a righteous God against His enemies and the enemies of His chosen people.One can only speculate who these 2 billion people will be but I have my opinions and I am sure you do as well.And Gerlinda, don't confuse the releasing of Satan's troops in Rev.9:7 with God's army in Rev.9:13 they are two separate entities.I hope I have explained God's words in a clearer manor this time and have answered your questions. This whole end time "exceedingly great army" (Ezek.37:10, Rev.9:13-19) and its workings are portrayed for all to see right there in His Word. It baffles me why more people don't address it and write about it. God doesn't lie, it will happen just as He described it in Ezek., Joel and Revelation.
