Ms Agee, We will agree to disagree on the exact location of Babylon, but you do realize we occupy (America) the Old Babylon.   I think we have spent over 1 Billion on our Fortress called an Embassy in Iraq?    With that said, I have no doubt that judgment is soon coming to America.    Several bible scholars through the years have believed and taught that America will reach her demise by a surprise attack.    The Ezekiel 38-39 invasion of Israel led by Russia with Iran, Turkey etc. must take out the strong man.    Not because God can't get the glory as these chapters describe with America still standing.    America is guilty of numerous offenses: Idols,Money, Abortions, Porn, Drugs, and this is the short list.    The final straw that breaks the camel's back is when Israel comes under attack, and we do not come to her defense.    Ezekiel 39:6 "And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the Lord".    I am not a Greek or Hebrew scholar, but through the years I have learned that in this area of scripture, there are two things which seem to be clear.    The Hebrew word used for carelessly is the word "Betach", which means to dwell with a false sense of security.    The word Isles seems to be describing a people who live along the coast-lands.    I think without a doubt one could make the argument that we in America have lived for a few centuries with the idea of never being attacked on our on Homeland.    We dwell with a false sense of security, and I believe the vast population starting in Maine and going all the way to Mexico, and from Washington all the way to Mexico, would confirm.    We are a coast-land people, and people like me live in fly-over territory.    In my first response to Kevin M that got this area of debate going I stated that I have been telling people for 17-18 years it is either Rapture or Radiation.    This area of scripture is clear the Lord gets the Glory.    Russia and it's hordes are destroyed on the Mountains of Israel.    America is like many nations (particularly Israel) throughout history, the Lord uses an UnGodly nation to judge a nation which has been used by him, but has turned to wicked ways.    Russia is destroyed.    America is destroyed.    Israel is saved for the Lord's name sake, his glory.    It was announced a couple of weeks ago that with the EU in free-fall, that 10 Nations are talking about realigning.    Sounds biblical to me?    As the ship captains and those who stand a far off, the 10 Nations hear of her demise and see her burning. The "Man of Sin" stands with his plan and the representatives of the Old Roman Empire give him power.    Several scholars have believed the time of this attack happens around Rosh Hashanah.    Just a few weeks away    Everything seems to be in place.   A perfect time going forward after this for a "Peace Treaty" between Israel and the "Man of Sin"?    Ms Agee don't you live along the Isles?    Keep Looking Up..Jesus is coming..Jimmy
