"The Four Angels of the Wind? - John B and Gerlinda the Book of Enoch?!"

Dear John and Gerlinda,

The Book of Enoch, translated by R. H. Charles....This week, i have spent reading my little copy, and what a wonderful time i have had!! Although i never came across the Four angels of the River Euphrates....and i will have to re-read it all again this coming week, for i i still think it's there, somwhere in these pages....very puzzeling.

But! what i did find out was worth sharing...the first mention of Four Winds of the earth is in XVIII.

1. I saw the treasuries of all the winds; I saw how He had furnished with them the whole creation and the firm foundations of the earth.
2. And I saw the corner-stone of the earth : I saw the four winds which bear the earth and the firmament of heaven.
3. And I saw how the winds stretch out the vaults of heaven: and have their station between heaven and earth: these are the pillars of heaven.

So according to that, there are actually four winds which control all the movement and circumvent the earth. in the Spirit..but they are mentioned again!

LX.11. And the other angel who went with me and showed me what was hidden told me, what is first and last in the heaven and in the height, beneath the earth in the depth, and at the ends of the heaven, and on the foundation of the heaven. 12.And the chambers of the wind; and how the winds are divided and how they are weighed, and how the portals of the wind are reckoned, each according to the power of the wind, and the power of the lights of the moon, and acording to their names, and how all the divisions are divided.

Did you know about the very weight of the winds?!! Also the treasury of the spirits of the weather....spirit of the sea is masculine...and the spirit of the hoarfrost!

Then, in  chapter LXIX. 22. And in like manner the spirits of the water, and of the winds, and of all zephyrs, and their paths from all quarters of the winds.
Now listen to this section...

LXX.1. And it came to pass after this that his name during his lifetime was raised aloft to that Son of Man and to the Lord of the Spirits from amongst those who dwell on the earth.
2. And he was raised aloft on the chariots of the spirit and his name vanished among them.
3. And from that day I was no longer numbered amongst them: and he set me between the two winds, between the north and the west, where the angels took the cords to measure for me the place among the elect and righteous.

LXXVI. THE TWELVE WINDS AND THEIR PORTALS

1. And at the ends of the earth I saw twelve portals open to all the quarters of the heaven, from which the winds go forth and blow over the earth.

So there are three winds in each direction, north, south, east and west...as the chapter goes into this...

The problem i encountered whilst reading Enoch, i intended to "speed read" it? but, unfortunately and incredibly, i just could not help but savour each new sentence!!
When the book opened up and there are all these pledges to the geatness of the Ancient of Days and then the description of the Throne Room....made of fire and crystal? well...i even cannot now, tell your where that section is? The Book of Enoch, has a mysterious way of taking me to these secret deep places of Our Heavenly Home and then i become totally immersed in the description, and  i still cannot find where the Four angels at the Euphrates are!

The only thing i can say, is that the Four angels of the Four winds are certainly particular for that purpose, and i remember disctinctly that the Four angels bound at the River Euphrates are bad / fallen angels who are bound there at the moment for 70 generations? anyway thats all, is what i have shared. i will try again to read the Book of Enoch and find these elusive angels. But, i would like to thank you for making me think of this, because i have been greatly blessed by my secret deep, and far away journeys into the portals of heaven!!

Shabbat Shalom and brotherly love and hope in our great day of departure from this beautiful earth!

Marantha! Thanks and love to you too! Gerlinda, i'm now looking forward to meeting Enoch! Praise the Lord, Holy Is His Name.
