May 8, 1945 was the end of World War Two when Germany surrendered to the Allied Forces ending the Nazi regime's final solution. The Final Solution was Nazi Germany's plan and execution of the systematic genocide of European Jews during World War II. V.E. Day is observed throughout Europe and the U.S.A. on May 8 but it happened on 25 Iyyar. - as in 25 Iyyar 6758, May 13, 2998.
