When I hear from the Lord it seems to always be as I am waking up - not totally asleep and not totally awake.

This morning (July 15th) I was sleeping and slowly became awake due to a doorbell ringing over and over and over again.
Once I became fully awake I continued to hear the doorbell ringing, but it was not my doorbell.  I heard ding dong over & over again.
My doorbell has a totally different sound and rhythm - da da da da - da da da da
I laid there listening as I continued hearing this doorbell, looked at the clock and the time was 6:17 a.m. and then turned to 6:18 a.m.

There is no other explanation than the Lord let me hear that doorbell.  It must have rang (ding, dong) about 10-12 times (just a guess)
My 2 tiny dogs will always bark up a storm when the doorbell rings, but they never heard a thing this morning.
They continued sleeping.

Does anyone know what this might mean?  What is the Lord trying to tell me/us?
