Readers -
In Frank's interesting post here:

he mentions that he
"thinks snapping trees" means something.
I out forward this theory -
The Bible has a famous story in it about a tree that gets cut down, and you should read all of Daniel chapter 4. This is the account of the dream King Nebuchadnezzar has and recounts to Daniel for interpretation.
This is one of the most interesting prophetic accounts in the Bible - imho. I'm not going to quote the whole thing - but notice this key verse:
Daniel 4:23
"And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;"
After King Nebuchadnezzar tells Daniel, Daniel sits astounded for one hour. The dream is about the judgment of God coming on the King, and Daniel encourages the King to repent so it won't happen!
Twelve months later, the events of the dream do take place because King Nebuchadnezzar does NOT take Daniel's advice. Read the account for yourself.
If "Snapping Trees" is applicable and prophetic - then perhaps this Bible story has the answer.
Maybe the tree is not a King this time - maybe it's a country, or a wayward Church.
Jesus is Lord.
