I live in an area of the USA called "Tornado Alley", which is area across many states. It is constantly in danger of tornadoes, and God has miraculously spared us twice from destruction. I lost count as to how many tornadoes and high wind storms we have had to deal with. It's every year from spring through summer.

On July 19th, 2012, about 10 pm (22:00 hrs) we had a violent storm tear through our region, again.  We had trees snap off mid-trunk in our yard and in our neighbors yards. There was continuous lightening - unprecedented. I have never seen so much lightening, nor heard so much thunder. Scared us to death.

The next day, I went and saw the damage in our area. Attached is a "before and after" photo of a beautiful, magnificent tree next to a church that fell, either due to lightening, high winds, or both. Incredibly, it missed the church completely.

Jesus is Lord.
