Though, it must be noted that MJ Agee, a prophecy teacher of some note, feels strongly, based on early translations, that the "falling away" is actually the Departure or Catching Away. This topic has been debated here before.

It's seems obvious that the departure from some major core Bible truths has ALREADY taken place by main stream churches, at least in the west, and this has been going on for years. see my 12/97 account and the Parable of the Locket on the Five Doves home page.
