"To Barry and Mari re:
thoughts on who goes in the Rapture"
Thank you so much for responding to my post.
I believe Pastor F.M. RILEY. opened my eyes to Luke 21:36 when
he reminded us in one of his writings Jesus was talking to the
Jews when He made that statement.
The scripture, he explained, is not referring to the Blood
washed saints. The Jews believe in God but will not be
counted worthy to escape all the things that are about to come
to pass and to stand before the Son of Man unless they
believed in Yeshuah as Messiah.
If we are born Again by the SPIRIT and WATER, washed and
cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb, there is no reason we ought
to pray to be counted worthy to escape the tribulation.
When we stand before the judgment seat of Christ, we will
receive our rewards.
Some will receive many. Others hardly any.
.
I recall reading a commentary of the scriptures in Revelation
that speak of tears being wiped away in heaven of being
tears of those who did not earn hardly any rewards.
Food for thought.
Blessings all!
