Your post made me chuckle.  You nailed the doomsday events right on the head.  While we are in the birth pangs still, I personally think those events will erupt after we leave.  That is the GOOD news for us.

I also chuckled because growing up there were 2 local musicians named RENE and RENEE.  LOL.! They sang in Spanish and English.
