"Burning heat and scorching sun spoken of in the Bible"

I never saw the following passage in James as prophetic.  I just saw it as allegorical.  I'll have to bear in mind that it may be twofold especially if there is a sharper economic decline in light of the wording.

James 1:11
For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits.

The Bible does however say that in the end times the sun will grow hotter.

Revelation 16:8
[ Fourth Bowl: Men Are Scorched ] Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.

I think the sudden heat wave that is breaking records is another sign that time is short.  Not that the fourth bowl has yet been poured out.  This is just a little taste of how bad things are going to get.

Time is short.
