The "overcomer" is plainly defined in Scripture, as follows:
1 John 5:4-5 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world -our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?Accordingly, the promise for the overcomer included in each message is intended for the entire body of believers, not just for the individual church that the message is directed to. In other words, all true born again believers, will receive all the promises given in the letters to all the churches.
I believe that the overcomer = the Bride = all who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.Maranatha!Amy Van GerpenSteve Coerper (6 July 2012)

Dear John, Mercer and Doves -Yes, you are going in the rapture, but you are not necessarily part of the Bride of Christ. We are all betrothed to Christ, but it is possible to be "disqualified." We are to "run the race with endurance" but does this not suggest, because we are free-will creatures, that some will not?Read again the letters to the seven churches in Revelation and you will see that Christ Himself distinguishes between those who are "overcomers" and those who are not. It's a choice.
