I also observe that it is the 40th lunar anniversary of the Yom Kippur war (which itself was the 2000th lunar anniversary of the day the Lord Jesus rode into Jerusalem as Israel's king).I also checked the date the spies were sent into Canaan. According to AE Ware this was the 30th July 1638 BC. Allowing for the 2-day discrepancy due to the switch from Julian to Gregorian calendars, this makes the opening ceremony exactly 3649 years from the beginning of Israel's 40 years of chastisement then they failed to enter the promised land due to unbelief.So twice over we have a hint of Israel coming under judgment owing to unbelief, and possibly a hint that they will do so again owing to believing in the false messiah, not the real one.Notice some of the elements of the opening ceremony: a fake Israel, a fake Zion, a fake son of David, and also a small green hill outside the city with a tree on top ("There is a green hill far away without a city wall").Adrian
