We agree to pray for our leaders --
though not nec. for their salvation (I see no Scripture
reference directly addressing that! But rather that we
may lead peaceable lives.) Actually by the end of
Revelation, birds will be eating the flesh of kings <--
plural, indicates that most leaders are not Christians.
Maybe we are to pray that they will not overuse or abuse their
power & bring harm to us ~ in the sense of evil being
called good & good, evil. Anyone ever think of that?
And as far as pointing someone out as
(very good contender!!) to become the AC.... well,
that's easy. When someone BEHAVES in a very AC demeanor,
then it's pretty much a given they are an antichrist!!
Whether THEE AntiChrist or not -- remains to be seen till
after the rapture. But when someone does something that
God says not to do; when someone does not do something
that God says TO do.... when someone is arrogant &
on & on & on and does not order people to stop calling
him the messiah or "the one" or whatever, then it's for sure
certain he/they are antichrist.
Give you another clue about the
AntiChrist though: Isaiah 14 clearly states he will be
the King of Babylon WHO WILL DESTROY HIS OWN
COUNTRY. Now I know a lot of people will be slow
to want to agree with this, clearly some will want to debate
or be dogmatic in saying that America is not in Bible prophecy
or is ~NOT~ Babylon. I firmly disagree. America IS
in Bible prophecy -- but it's not a pretty picture.....
she is not *mystery Babylon* of Revelation (clearly that is
the Vatican in ROME); but she is the DAUGHTER of
Babylon written about in Jer. 50, 51, Isaiah 47, and
Obadiah ~ as well as other places. People try to make
these one in the same; they clearly are not. Mystery
Babylon in Revelation is a **CITY** on 7 hills; while the
daughter of Babylon is a **NATION** ~ the youngest of them
all, once the strongest (the hammer), and her mother will look
on her in absolute SHOCK when the daughter is wiped
out (nuked off the planet later on in the Trib.)
America, btw, is the ONLY country with a *mother*.
I know, all this is a lot to digest for
someone whose never actually read those OT books or cannot
even allow themselves to consider such about this
country.
Whether a person agrees with it or
not is irrelevent because fact is: this current
pResident in office **IS** destroying this country and doing
what he wants to do. Isaiah 14 is coming to life
before our eyes. So, then, moving
on....
Also, man reaches a certain point where
he is no longer capable of salvation.... even though still
living, breathing.... he has crossed that line in the sand,
where he is reprobate and can no longer be saved. Only
God knows when that point is. But for these
reasons, no, I do not believe we are to pray for the
president's salvation; I think he has clearly, stubbornly, and
willfully crossed that line in the sand.
"Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry nor
prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not
hear you." (Jer7:16)

who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous,
let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy
still.
While I agree that we cannot know
with absolute certainty this guy will become the AC, I
think he's got the best chance of any world leader currently
in office!! I personally still think he will be
the one. It took years of convincing me, I'll admit,
because even though I had my eyes wide open to all his AC
tendencies, still I was always taught the AC **HAD** to come
out of the EU. I now think that theory is wrong
[but even if it's right, he has such a lineage that could very
well include Europe!] and I'm currently convinced
the AC lives among us & is getting more AC-like as the
days go by, but will not fully become satan incarnated till
after the rapture, and possibly not even till mid-trib.
Just because Jesus ate with Judas &
allowed Judas to hang out with Him as one of the 12, I see no
where in Scripture where we are to do the same. In fact,
the Bible is full of directives for us to do the exact
opposite. I have a long study of PEOPLE WE
ARE TO AVOID and if anyone wants me to share it,
say the word & I'll put it up here. For
starters, 1 Cor 15:33: Don't let anyone deceive you.
Associating with bad people will ruin decent people.
