Rev. 17:9-11 tells of seven heads, the seventh must remain for a short while. Then the eighth head is out of the seven - it is the return of the fifth. ...I see these "heads" as, in one application, being the sequence of empires which have influence over the Promised Land. That is: 1.Babylon 2. Medo-Persia 3. Greece 4. Rome 5. Byzantine Empire 7. British/American Empires 8. Revived Byzantine Empire. ..............What we see in current events today is the transition from the dominance of empire 7 (British/American Empire) to the dominance of the Reviving Byzantine Empire. Currently the Prime Minister of Israel makes more trips and such to Moscow to consult with Putin than he makes consultations with the President of USA. And in other ways it can be shown that Russian influence in the Middle East has taken dominance over American or British influence. That is, we transitioning into phase 8 of Revelation 17:9-11. ........................The USA is one of the major expressions of Babylon the Great. Russia and its place in the Revived Byzantine Empire will also continue to be a major expression of Babylon the Great. .................................................................................We see that former president Donald Trump has functioned as a mouthpiece of the Beast system which is developing in Russia. That is, he has been an vocal advocate for the policies which Russia curently wants to push. That is in accord with Rev. 13:5. A "mouth was given to the beast speaking blasphemies."
