(Not only like with Moses, but Jesus may do as Joshua did, when the LORD brought up Israel from Egypt to the land of promise:)
Micah 7:15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.
(Jesus leading across the Jordan, stopping the waters, and showing that the 12 stones are still there, in the river, after 3500 years!)
Joshua 4:9 And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests which bare the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there unto this day.
(The battle will now be on the west bank, and Jesus may begin defeating the enemy, possibly at Jericho.)
Psalms 47:5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Psalms 58:9 Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.10 The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
(Jesus had originally told Israel to kill everyone in the land, but they didn’t do that, and it caused them great troubles:)
Deuteronomy 7:1 When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;2 And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly.
Deuteronomy 20:16 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:18 That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin against the LORD your God.
(Israel did not do that, and it caused centuries of troubles and captivity.Jesus will not break his own word, and it seems that he will have Israel, themselves, complete this task, at the second advent.)
