Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

 

Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

 

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

  16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

 

(The Word of God will smite the nations with the word of God :)

Isaiah 63:2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?

  3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

 

Revelation 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

  20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

 

(It is called the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God, which clearly will finish the seventh vial of the wrath of God.

Those in the winepress are therefore the grapes of wrath, trodden under foot, and their blood sprinkles out, like the grape juice does of the grapes that are trodden on.

No one had yet seen this up-close and personal fierceness of the Almighty, but here, his perfectly holy, just and righteous wrath, is executed upon his enemies.)
