Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

 

(In addition to all the angels which accompany Jesus, so also are these upon the white horses.

Angels fly, and yet so do these horses:)

 

Revelation 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

 

Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Isaiah 6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

 

(Angels are not mentioned as riding upon horses in the scriptures, that is something that people are frequently mentioned in the scriptures.

However, those 200 million horses with lions heads, and breathing fire, in chapter 9, also appear not to be terrestrial horses, and neither do their riders.

However, the angels of the LORD fly rather than ride horses.

So most likely, these following Jesus, riding upon white horses, coming down out of heaven, are people, not angels.)

 

(Additionally, it also says the armies “which were” in heaven, not the armies “of” heaven, like the angels, but armies which were there.

So, it may likely be, that the people following Jesus, are those that were in heaven.

Which people were in heaven, but those which had been on earth, were saved in the church age, then resurrected to heaven, to be with Jesus?

That would mean that it is likely that those following Jesus are the Christians, previously resurrected at the blessed hope, and since it says:)

 

I Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

 

(Therefore, when he returns to the earth, we return with him.

There's a little more about that, a few lines further down, in chapter 19.)

  18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

 

Revelation 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

 

Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

  3 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

  14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
