"word of God / Word of God"

Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

(Then the word of God, with a small “w”, is always speaking about the written word of God, the inspired scriptures.
Also, words come from the heart, and then out of the mouth.
Jesus’ words are spirit and life:)

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

(Jesus’ words are inspired:)

II Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

(Jesus’ words are alive:)

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(This name of his, is the same as the name of the book, when they are pronounced, both “W” and “w” are pronounced and heard the same way.)

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(When written, and therein read, is where the scriptures distinguishes between the “W” and the “w”.
Jesus is intimately identified with the scriptures:)

John 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Hebrews 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

(What comes from the heart of God, the Father, is spoken/written as the word of God.
Jesus, the Word of God, is thus the full and perfect expression of the heart of God, similar to:)

Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

We speak with words to communicate what we are thinking and feeling, to others.
Jesus, the Word of God, is therefore, also, the perfect, full communication of God to his creation.
That is how he created:)

Psalms 33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

(All that we ever can, and would, know of the Father, is manifest in the Son, the Word of God.)

(The second advent is clearly in context of Jesus’ identity, i.e. his name is called The Word of God.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

(As the Son is the express image of the Father:)

Hebrews 1:3a Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,

(And so, Jesus is the manifestation of the Father, in the flesh.
Therefore, the scriptures are the manifestation of Jesus in print
The word of God is the manifestation of the Word of God, in print.)
