Revelation 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

 

Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

 

(Also, he already has many crowns, much different from the rider for the first seal, who was given a crown.

He has a name written – it doesn’t say where it is written, which is different from than that memtioned, later, in line 16.

Who wrote the name? The Father? The Son? The Holy Ghost? It doesn’t say.

However, no one, except Jesus, knew this name – it says knew, not knoweth, so perhaps it will be revealed.

Three of his names are mentioned, in this line 12, then, following, in line 13, and then also in line 16.

A name identifies, describes, and affects how the person, place, or thing named, is thought of.

Since no one knows this particular name of his, except himself, perhaps in this context of the second advent,

is how Jesus is thinking of himself, who he is, what he has done, and what he is about to do.)
