"heaven opened"

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war

(Heaven opened:)

Matthew 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Ezekiel 1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

Acts 10:11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

(This is not something that John saw way on the other side of the universe, but physically just above him, in the air, in the clouds.)
John beholds a white horse, but not like the one at the opening of the first seal, which was the beginning of plagues.
This horse, like the foal of an ass that was ridden into Jerusalem, has the honor and privilege, to be ridden by his Creator, the Almighty in human flesh.
This horse is different from the four horses in chapter 6, from the 200 million horses in chapter 9, and from the horses that Zechariah saw.
Even though all of those horses are also celestial beings, this horse is explicitly ridden by the conquering King.
This horse, and the ones following him, can apparently fly, though no wings are mentioned.
Now the focus moves to him that sat upon the horse.)

(This is the ultimate climatic moment of all the ages!
This scene is the most glorious and dramatic of all time.
This is what everything has been looking forward to, the fulfilment of all hope.
This is with full power – all eyes, and the attention of everything in heaven and earth, is on him that sat upon the horse.
This is like a sudden, brilliant flash of lightning in the dark, enlightening all that is about him:)

Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luke 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

(This is the day of the LORD, because this is the LORD coming back as he promised, to judge, to rule, to make all things right.
The second advent of Jesus is the greatest thing to happen to all creation.
In reference to this, did Jesus say to “look up”, some to redemption, but some to wrath?)

Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and t he rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
  16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
  17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

(He that sat upon the horse is our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.)
(He is called faithful and true.)

Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Revelation 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

(Jesus in righteousness:)

Isaiah 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

(judges:)

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Psalms 96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

(and makes war:)

Exodus 15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

Psalms 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
