"DATE SETTING PRO & CON"

THE PROS & CONS OF 'DATE SETTING'..........

Those who are opposed to date setting cite the following PRE-CRUCIFIXION Scripture :

Matthew 24:36 ( Jesus speaking )

"But of that DAY AND HOUR knoweth no man , no, not the angels of heaven , but MY FATHER ONLY."

Jesus includes Himself as not knowing the "DAY AND HOUR" when the coming of the Son of Man will be, but Jesus was speaking PRE-CRUCIFIXION, and He also DID NOT say that NO MAN would ever know the "DAY AND HOUR".   But now that Jesus has been crucified & resurrected to heaven, and now sits on the right-hand of the FATHER the following POST-CRUCIFIXION Scripture applies :

Revelation 1:1

"The REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST, which GOD, THE FATHER, GAVE UNTO HIM TO SHOW UNTO HIS SERVANTS of things which must shortly come to pass..."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT:

AFTER Jesus resurrected to heaven POST-CRUCIFIXION, and now sits on the right hand of the FATHER who was the ONLY one who knew the "DAY AND HOUR"; the FATHER  then REVEALED IT TO JESUS who in turn has now REVEALED "THE DAY" to His servants in the Book of Revelation. There is no POST-CRUCIFIXION Scripture that prohibits date setting. Quite the contrary. There is information given to us in the Book of Revelation which when  added to other information given to us in the POST-CRUCIFIXION Scriptures of the Gospel of Christ according to the Apostle Paul that allows us to set calculated dates as a way of watching according to :

Revelation 3:3

"If therefore you shall not watch I will come upon you as a thief, and YOU SHALL NOT KNOW WHAT HOUR i will come upon you."  Notice "THE DAY" is no longer included in the Scripture.

According to Your Holy Ward, come Lord Jesus !
