"THE 'YEAR OF PERFECT ORDER'"

THE YEAR 2023 IS A 'YEAR OF PERFECT ORDER'.........

A 'Year of Perfect Order' is a year in which the days of the week fall perfectly on the same days of the Hebrew Lunar Calendar as they did in the year that Jesus was crucified. Next year, 2023, is just such a Year of Perfect Order.

A 'Year of Perfect Order' occurs when Passover, Nisan 14, falls on a Wednesday just as it did when Jesus was crucified on Wednesday, Passover Nisan 14. Here is how we know that it was a Wednesday the week when Jesus was crucified :

Hebrew days BEGIN  at sunset and END at sunset the following day, not like our Gregorian Calendar days which begin and end at midnight.

First, we need to determine what day of the week it was when Jesus resurrected from the dead :

Mark 16;9

"Now when Jesus WAS RISEN EARLY THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK......"  ( we know that the FIRST DAY of the week to be SUNDAY which follows the 7th day Sabbath Saturday )

Next, we need to determine how many days and nights Jesus was in the grave before He resurrected on SUNDAY :

Matthew 12:40

"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly, so SHALL THE SON OF MAN be THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS in the heart of the earth."

Next, we need to know what date  Passover falls on :

Numbers 28:16

"The FOURTEENTH DAY of the FIRST MONTH is the Passover of the Lord."

Now we can correctly reconstruct the days of the week in which Jesus was crucified as follows :

Nisan 18 , Sunday....Jesus resurrected "early the first day of the week" shortly after sunset of the Saturday Sabbath which was then Sunday because the Hebrew day changed at sunset.

Nisan 17 , Saturday ...................the third day in the grave until sunset

Friday night............... the third night in the grave

Nisan 16 , Friday .......................the second day in the grave

Thursday night...........the second night in the grave

Nisan 15 , Thursday...................the first day in the grave

Wednesday night...... the first night in the grave

Nisan 14 , Wednesday ..............Passover was the day Jesus was crucified as the sacrificial lamb of God, and then was placed in the grave just before sunset .

Nisan 13 , Tuesday....................day four as the Lamb of God, thus fulfilling the prophecy of sacrificing the lamb AFTER four days according to : Exodus 12:3 & Exodus 12:21

Nisan 12 , Monday....................day three as the Lamb of God

Nisan 11 , Sunday..................... day two as the Lamb of God

Nisan 10 , Saturday................... Jesus rode into Jerusalem as the Lamb of God, and hailed as the .King of the Jews' on the 'Day of Palms' four days before He was crucified on Passover

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT:

Jesus fulfilled many prophecies during the week in which He was crucified on Wednesday, Passover Nisan 14. Among them He fulfilled the prophecy of the perfect sacrificial Passover Lamb which God directed Moses to have the Hebrew people select on Nisan 10 which was four days before Passover on Nisan 14 . They were instructed to keep the sacrificial lamb close for four days , and then kill it on Passover Nisan 14. The blood was to be placed over the doors , and on each side of the doors to protect the Hebrews from the death angel as he 'passed-over' the houses according to: Exodus 12:3-21.

In like manner, Jesus rode into Jerusalem ON SATURDAY NISAN 10, which was FOUR DAYS BEFORE PASSOVER ON WEDNESDAY NISAN 14, as the  'Passover Lamb of God'. He was close to His followers for  FOUR DAYS, and then on Wednesday, Passover  Nisan 14, He was sacrificed for His blood which saves the whole world in like manner that the blood of the Passover Lamb saved the Hebrews in Egypt.

'Palm Sunday' is a misguided, man-made decree issued by Constantine who was the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. When the Holy Roman Church was first formed in Rome the majority of Romans were sun worshipers whose day of worship was Sunday. When Christians were  brought under the authority of the Holy Roman Church, they were forced to change their Sabbath Saturday day of  worship to Sunday. If they were caught worshiping on a Sabbath Saturday, they were thrown to the lions. That made quite a strong incentive to change their day of worship from Saturday to Sunday, and there it remains today.

Jesus, who is 'Lord of the Sabbath' and our 'Passover Lamb, rode into Jerusalem on Nisan 10 which was Sabbath Saturday four days before He was crucified on Wednesday Passover Nisan 14.

We should correctly say, "Palm Saturday' rather than 'Palm Sunday'.

According to your Holy Word, come Lord Jesus !
