Reply to Gino: RE: Nansings: 12.12.24: Pre-Existence"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." - Jeremiah 1:5Zech. 12:1D "and formeth the spirit of man within him." Scientists have discovered that a spark of light appears at the moment of conception. That is when God puts a spirit within a person. That doesn't mean the spirit didn't exist prior to the event. It would mean that's when it enters the human body. The human body is formed in the womb, but the spirit comes from God who is pre-existent/eternal.I read about a Christian who had an NDE and in Heaven the angels bowed to him when he passed by. He asked why. They replied, "Because you have a spark of the Divine in you." That means the "spark" that lights up at conception is from God who is eternal and who made us all. We came from Him and we go back to Him, whether He then redirects us to Hell or Heaven. The "spark" is our eternal spirit - which is part of God who is eternal - which means our "spark" existed prior to coming here. Saying He formed it in the womb likely meant He designed it at that time (see Cathy C's experience below), but doesn't mean it didn't exist prior to, based on Jeremiah 1:5 and what Jesus told people in the NDEs below. There are far too many amazing stories from people worldwide on NDE websites and in videos on youtube who have told about how they were allowed to pick who would be their parents before coming to Earth, or got to pick who they would be (see John C. story at the end below) to not believe it. I have no problem with the stories because they match up with what Jesus told His disciples about John the Baptist being Elijah (who came once before, was with them then in Jesus's lifetime and would come again in the future), as well as, with what God told Jeremiah in the verse above. To me it makes all the sense in the world.NDE: Woman Required to Return For Having Signed a Prior Contract With God:In a recent video a woman tells how she and her two kids were murdered by her husband in 2005. in Heaven she talked with Jesus and He told her she would have to go back. She was adamantly against that idea, but Jesus told her that every soul starts with a blank slate. When a soul wishes to experience life, it approaches the Father who grants them their wish.Jesus said, "It is not your time to rejoin My Father. You must return and tell others what is to come."She replied, "I don't want to return, I have lost everything."Jesus responded, "My daughter, just like the souls of your loved ones, you too signed a contract with My Father" (meaning before she ever came to Earth). Your life experience isn't done."She said she didn't want to go back without her kids.Jesus looked at her, hugged her and said "You must return. Do not worry, I will show you what awaits you when you go back." He then showed her 70 years into the future, then returned her to her body. -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_c1kzukPGUE
NDE: A Woman Was Returned Due to Signing An Agreement Prior to ComingA woman who had ended her life twice due to physical abuse met Jesus the first time, but during her second NDE she was told she had made an agreement before coming to Earth and had to go back and fulfill it.She argued with the angels and was told she chose this in spite of knowing beforehand the abuse she would suffer which would be too hard and overwhelming. She was told that what she would accomplish in this lifetime would normally take three lifetimes. Because she was a very stubborn person she had decided she wanted to do it all in one lifetime and, as a result, had to go back.On a side note, she was also told the Golden Age would begin in 2032. Her 2nd NDE starts at 9:41: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2NthQP09R4Cathy C.'s NDE: She asked Jesus about reincarnation.I was the victim of a poisoning. I was given a soft drink laced with strychnine. The poisoning caused distress, loss of hearing, loss of motor skills and eventually I slipped into blackness. I immediately descended as if in a speeding elevator car. My only sensation was that of being taken downward in total darkness, total silence. When the descent ended I was in the deepest, darkest void I had ever experienced. Suddenly everything became clear to me. I WAS DEAD. I HAD BEEN CREATED BY GOD. GOD WAS A REALITY BUT I WAS NOT WITH HIM. As it turned out, he was with me but I did not know that yet.
I tried to see but could not. I began to hear noise and what I heard was extremely distressing and eventually unbearable. As the noise grew in intensity, I realized it was voices, the countless voices of many, many souls, saying nothing, only weeping and wailing. It was the most anguished, pathetic sound I had ever heard. With every passing moment it grew until I imagined their numbers were in the millions. It was unbearable. I had to get out of this place. But how? I had no body and no voice. Finally, somewhere deep down in my spirit I screamed as hard as I could. I heard my own voice echoing on and on, GOD, HELP ME. The next thing that happened was a gigantic hand came down and moved under me and lifted me out of that abyss. I was then taken up and up. The anguished voices faded and all was quiet. I saw again and realized I was passing up away from the Earth. In moments I had arrived at a certain destination and was confused. I was concerned about what had happened to me, that is, what had happened to my body.
I found myself facing a group of people that I felt that I knew somehow. It seemed I had known them from a very long time ago. I knew they knew who I was. It seemed they loved me very much and were extremely happy to see me. I couldn't make out their faces but I was sure I had known them and loved them somewhere, sometime.
One of them seemed to be my grandmother, but try as I might I could not make out her face. I kept asking them, "What about Cathy?" I was so concerned about what had happened to me. The others told me not to worry about her (my body, my former self). They told me I was there with them and that was all that mattered. They told me I had to talk to Him and pointed to a man who was off in the distance.
I was immediately in His presence and we talked at length. I couldn't hear His voice but His thoughts instantly transferred to my consciousness and mine to His. I remember asking Him how I came to be here. He told me that He had created me, that it was His desire for me to be there with Him. I told Him this place was far too wonderful & I knew I had not done anything in my life to deserve being there in that beautiful place with Him. Once again, He told me that He had created my spirit in the beginning and had always longed for me to be there with Him! I insisted to Him that I was undeserving of His love & that I didn't think I should be there.
He began answering questions for me. He made me understand that He created me and that He loved me so very much. His spirit passed through my spirit with His Incredible love. I came to realize that the love I had just experienced from my Creator was unlike any love I had ever known on Earth, even that of my grandmother who loved me dearly. Her love could not compare with the love this Father of mine had just revealed to me.
I knew that He had the answers to all questions, so I began to ask Him things I had wondered about the most. Why is there evil? His reply, "Because there is good." I asked how anyone, being what they are, be permitted to exist in this home of God. He made me understand that He knew everything about me, that I was who I was because He Himself had designed me to be exactly, precisely who I was and that whatever I was, I was still His creation, His child and He loved me so very much.
He asked me if I was now aware that I was dead. I said, "Well, yes. I guess I know that I'm dead." I asked Him, "Please tell me. When we, your children, come into existence, do we live just one time or do we live over and over?" He said it's like this... He took me to the entrance of a hall. We stood and looked down this long hall and there were millions and millions of doorways leading off this hall. He made me aware that there were many choices available to me and that that choice was the very answer to the question I had asked. The choice was up to ME. He made me understand that I could choose to stay where I was, that I could choose to walk down that hall and pick a door. He made me aware that picking a door would be my exit out of Heaven and I would be born again out of the womb of some woman somewhere on Earth. I asked Him, "But how do I know what door to pick?" His reply was merely that the door that I picked is my choice. He could not reveal what that life would be like. It would be a mystery.
I asked Him, "Do we HAVE to pick another door and live over and over?" That in itself would be hell to me because what I had experienced, in large part, was very sad and distressful. He told me some people choose to go back again and again. He doesn't want them to. He wants them to stay with Him but He understands my feelings. He explained that when we choose to leave Him He removes all memories of previous lives because He doesn't want us distressed. He means for life to be a good thing for all of us. He then reiterated all my choices and again infused me with His love.
He then asked, "Now, why would you want to leave me?" I don't remember responding. He asked, "Now, how do you feel about being dead?" I said that it really didn't bother me that much but that my only regret was that I hadn't had the chance to say good-bye to my parents.
The very next thing that I became aware of, amazingly, remarkably, astoundingly, was that once again I was in my old body without realizing I had made my choice. I chose to leave my all-loving, all-accepting heavenly Father in order to come back and say good-bye to my parents. My God, what had I given up? I became so horrified and distressed and depressed beyond words, but here I was again back in this world. I CHOSE the life I mapped out for myself. It's exactly what I got, to say good-bye to my parents. And so the story goes. My Dad died four years later. I'm still saying good-bye to my Mom.
In this next story a man remembers choosing who would be his mother before coming here and his mother later confirms what he saw that helped him choose.John C.
About my mother ...
Updated 11/28/2006
This may seem a bit weird. I have a very strong memory of before I was born. In fact, I remember choosing my mother.
The memory starts with me hanging out in this measureless, gray void. No up. No down. No left. No right. Just "out there." I had no sense of having a body, no sense of being in a "place," and no sense of time. But I could see and it was all gray. And I was content.
Then a presence came up alongside me on my left, not too close. A woman passed by. She said, "Come along. It's time to choose your mother."
"Again?" I thought. Or maybe I said that.
"Yes," she said. "And if you don't want this one, we're going to choose one for you."
Well, alright, I thought. But she better be a nice one.
And of course, like any "child," which I seemed to be compared to this lady who was leading me through the "empty" space, at one point I asked something like, "Where is she?" which might be the equivalent of, "Are we there yet?"
The lady stopped and turned to look at me. "Look down," she said.
Down? That seemed strange. Where is "down," I thought? The lady pointed. I looked. Then like some kind of magic the gray fog began to open up in a circular fashion and I was looking down on a woman sitting on a grassy knoll under a large tree. She had long, brown hair. Her legs were folded up alongside her on her left and her skirt was spread out all around. Her short sleeved blouse was puffy around the shoulders and exposed only a small portion of her neck front and back. Her hands were in her lap. She seemed to be in very deep thought.
Well, she seemed nice enough, I thought. But what would life be like with her and what would my father be like? I didn't want another father like the last one, I thought. I then imagined a future of myself. I saw myself as an eight-year-old walking about by myself. I sensed that I was free and happy. I did not sense an overbearing father. In fact, my father was not even as prominent a figure in my life as my mother was. That was good, I thought. So, yes, this woman can be my mother.
And the memory ends there. Since the time I first recalled this memory, which was somewhere in my pre-teen years, some detail of the memory has faded. At around 17 years of age I finally got around to telling my mother about this. When I was done, she was visibly excited and smiling. Then she told me about a time when she and her husband, my father, were traveling from Arkansas to California with the hobos and tramps, something they had done more than once, and that in itself makes another very interesting story.
They stopped one night at a hobo campsite in a wooded area. The next morning when she woke up, she sensed that something was different about her body. She sensed that she was pregnant. And this pregnancy felt different than the previous two if only in the fact that she sensed it the morning after copulation. She silently walked away from the camp area and came to rest under a tree on a grassy knoll, and there she contemplated the new life now in her womb. She then told me that the dress and blouse she was wearing matched the description of what I described in my memory. She also told me that that moment felt so very precious to her that she had never forgotten it, and never told anyone about it.
As for how things turned out? My mother kicked my biological father out of the house the day she brought me home from the hospital. She said he was an abusive alcoholic and didn't want me to experience the trauma that my older brother had been going through. Soon after that, she met another man who would become my "father" when I was two-years-old. He was the only man I knew as my father, so to me he was "Daddy." And he was also more or less in the background throughout my life. He never gave me advice. He never tried to mould me in any way. That was my mother's job.
