(I have a question about the 10 kings with the beast.First, I wanted to show the scriptures about them.Daniel first saw a beast with ten horns:)
Daniel 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
(He wondered about it, and the angel explained it to him, that they will be ten kings which shall arise:)
(Then John saw ten horns with ten crowns, upon the beast:)Daniel 7:24a And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise:
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
(Then, again, John saw the ten horns upon the beast:)
Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
(Then the angel told John about them:)
Revelation 17:7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
(The angel explained that the ten horns are ten kings.However, the angel mentioned that they are kings, "which have received no kingdom as yet".They are not called princes, i.e. sons of kings, waiting for their fathers to die, to become kings themselves.But the angel says that they are already kings, but they have received no kingdom as yet.That is very strange and uncommon for kings.Then the angel says that, even though they have received no kingdom as yet, these ten kings do receive something.He says that they receive "power as kings", apparently these ten kings do not have power as kings, until the beast.Because the angel says that they receive that power as kings, one hour with the beast, for a short time, apparently during the tribulation:)
Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
(Then the angel says that the ten kings will give their power and strength to the beast.By that power they receive for that short time, they apparently, in turn, empower the beast:)
Revelation 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
(Another thing that these ten kings do with that power they receive, is to fruitlessly attack Jesus when he returns, who overcomes them:)
Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
(Another thing that the ten kings will have done with the power they receive, is to destroy and burn Mystery, Babylon:)
Revelation 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
(Clearly, the ten kings are different from the normal kings of the earth, as all those other kings will have somehow been under Mystery, Babylon:)
Revelation 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
(Those other kings, don't partake in the burning of Mystery, Babylon, but instead, they mourn for her, when the ten kings burn her:)
Revelation 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
(One interesting thing is that the ten kings agree and give their kingdom unto the beast:)
Revelation 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
(It doesn't say that they agree to give their kingdoms, plural, i.e. 10 kingdoms, but rather, kingdom, singular, 1 kingdom.Is this singular kingdom to be the kingdom of the beast?What kind of a kingdom would that be, as it doesn't seem to be a regular nation-state kingdom?)
Revelation 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
(So, since they are not normal kings, with their own nation-kingdoms, but they are somehow kings, and receive power as kings, what are they?Gary Stearman has proposed that perhaps these are ten, exceptionally wealthy men, with great influence.Apparently, that could be men like Bezos, Zukerberg, Gates, and even Musk.Is this a possibility?Could ten exceptionally wealthy, influential men, kings of industry & finance, receive super, spiritual power, in accordance with the antichrist?What provokes these ten kings to burn Mystery, Babylon?It won't be a military defeat by them, against another military power, but a total destruction of many people, all at once, suddenly.They will burn all that those people have, to where there will no longer be any more trade, music, or marriages.Rather, there will be great torment of the entire people in that destruction, with torment being far, far, more terrible than losing homes and properties.Their torment will be the torment of burning, and apparently of all the people, which seemingly will include women and children.Again, what occurs, that provokes the ten kings to do this, and burn all those people?)
