Fay,Perhaps you have been right about this, all along.I probably shouldn't have asked that question, a few weeks back, about what Chris White suggested about an initial pseudo battle.He strongly advocates that Gog/Magog is most likely only at the conclusion of the thousand year kingdom.However, as I had indicated in a series of letters, a few years back, and one last year, I don't agree with that.I had presented the possibility that the things in Ezekiel 38-39, are some happening before Jesus returns, and some after the kingdom.There are some things that Ezekiel mentioned, that seem to only make sense just prior to the return and reign of Jesus.Yet, there are some things that don't seem to fit, unless they are considered to be at the conclusion of the thousand year kingdom.Clearly, John, in Revelation 20, is referring to things at the conclusion of the thousand year kingdom.But in Ezekiel, it may have both time frames, but not clearly delineated, and seemingly intermixed, perhaps by design.I also had considered that the nations described by Ezekiel, need not be Russia, as had been taught for 100 years, now.But rather the four kingdoms that comprised the area, which is today called Turkey, along with the other nations Persia, Libya, Ethiopia, etc.Including protest by Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.There had been ancient Assyrian records, which predated Josephus, which presumably linked Magog with what would later become Lydia.Meshech, Tubal, and Togarmah, then would have been eastward of Magog, but still in the area of what is now Turkey.That Meshech, Tubal, and Togarmah were under Assyrian leadership for a time, but that Magog was only an ally.If so, then modern Turkey, along with Iran, Libya, including other northwestern African nations south of Egypt, could attack Israel.This could most likely happen before the return of Jesus.But those are only my thoughts, and I guess, that information, along with £3 or £4, could get someone a cup of coffee
