Back in the days of King David, what happened to "all" the Gentiles?

Example, at the same time, two Gentiles, one living in the south of India, and the other an indigenous dweller in Argentina.

Chances are that they were not atheists, especially when viewing the heavens.

But they most likely believed in other gods, and at that time, may never had even heard about the LORD God of Israel.

So would they have lived, died, and gone to hell, like all the other Gentiles?

Did all Gentiles, except for those like Ruth, Rahab, and others that found out about the LORD God of Israel and believed on him, go to hell?
