The moon is visiting the planets! Tonight, January 9th, the moon is having a close encounter with Jupiter.  The BIG SHOW is on Monday, January 13th when the full moon occults Mars. The only planet that is missing from the parade is Mercury (the Messenger). This because Mercury is currently a 'morning star'. Please see the 2nd link below for details.
