Did you ever stop to think that the "pride" in the Bible verses below might mean "homosexual pride?  Some of today's modern homosexuals certainly act haughty and proud strutting their naked body parts that no one needs to see in their homosexual parades.   

Ezekiel 16:49-50 says, "Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good."

Homosexuality is pointed out in the 2 Bible verses below as an abomination:

Leviticus 18:22, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."

Leviticus 20:13, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

And what about the apostle Paul who wrote in Greek about homosexuality in the book of Romans in 56 AD prior to when the Hebrew Masoretic Texts that were written between 501 AD & 1,000 AD?   Roman 1:24-32, "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, 

maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."  

According to Masoretic text | Hebrew Bible, Tanakh, Rabbinic Commentary | the  Britannica Masoretic text, (from Hebrew masoreth, “tradition”), traditional Hebrew text of the Jewish Bible, meticulously assembled and codified, and supplied with diacritical marks to enable correct pronunciation. This monumental work was begun around the 6th century ad and completed in the 10th by scholars at Talmudic academies in Babylonia and Palestine, in an effort to reproduce, as far as possible, the original text of the Hebrew Old Testament." The 6th century began in 501 AD and the 10th century ended in 1000 AD.

However, the New Testament book of Romans in which Paul wrote about homosexuality was written in Greek in 56 AD according to 

Romans - Biblical Studies - Oxford Bibliographies  It was not part of the Old Testament Masoretic text written in Hebrew between 501 AD & 1,000 AD which you claim your brother said was changed by a Roman Catholic Priest named Damain.  So both the Old Testament verses of Leviticus 18:22 & Leviticus 20:13 are in agreement with Paul's Romans 1:24-32  that homosexual acts are sinful which was written in 56AD and before or prior to when the Masoretic texts were written which you said were changed by Damian.
