"NATO's Baltic Sentry - Preparing For War"

Hello John and Doves,

It's really building up between NATO and Russia!

It's suspected that Russia is behind the December 25 "sabotage of four telecommunication cables and one power cable in the Baltic Sea."  And NATO has responded
by 'bottling up' the Russians to keep them from getting to the North Sea/Atlantic Ocean from the Baltic Sea (with warships from Kaliningrad and Saint Petersburg).  It's looks like this is more of a pre-wartime move than a 'future prevention/protection of undersea cables'.

Sweden, Estonia, Norway, Finland, Latvia, etc. have deployed their anti-ship missiles along their coastlines.  Ready to take out Russian warships...when the war begins.

Baltic Sentry:

"Up to 10 NATO vessels will patrol the Baltic Sea until April, enhancing situational awareness and protecting critical undersea infrastructure."  This operation is called Baltic Sentry which began on January 14.

"The authorities in Finland are investigating the suspected sabotage of four telecom cables and one power cable on December 25, just weeks after other cables in the region were severed.

"NATO's newest members are moving to close the Baltic Sea to Russian ships in wartime.  Sweden has just deployed a new anti-ship missile that ranges far enough to keep Russia ships from leaving Saint Petersburg or Kaliningrad, and by extension, leaving the Baltic to reach the North Sea and the wider Atlantic Ocean.

The Swedish armed forces have the new Mark 3 version of the RBS 15 anti-ship missile.  It has a 'more advanced target seeker, an increased range and a larger warhead'. This missile can be mounted on trucks and can target Russian warships exiting the Gulf of Finland.

This missile is "paired with sensors in space and the air, on land and on and below the sea, the missiles effectively deny the Atlantic to Russian warships sailing from Saint Petersburg and Kaliningrad, and deny Kaliningrad and Saint Petersburg to Russian warship sailing from the Atlantic."

"Meanwhile the British government revealed on Monday a new initiative using artificial intelligence to "track potential threats to undersea infrastructure and monitor the Russian shadow fleet"....

Baltic Sentry will include frigates and maritime surveillance patrol aircraft along with a fleet of naval drones (air and undersea).

The Russian 'shadow fleet' is made up of freighters that sale oil and natural gas to Asia in spite of the sanctions imposed by the US/Europe. Just days before Baltic Sentry was announced, Biden hit this "shadow fleet" with more sanctions - this affects some 180 ships.

NATO Preparing Airspace:

"The airspace near NATO's eastern flank was crowded with multinational surveillance assets Tuesday as the alliance ramped up its monitoring of Russia's border areas.  The United States, Britain, France and Sweden are among four individual members to deploy intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft to the Baltic Sea, while a NATO unit launched an airborne early warning and control plane on the same day."

"The intensive ISR activity comes amid ongoing concerns over Russian grey-zone activity, including suspected subsea cable sabotage targeting the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.  Regional governments are also closely watchin the unusual movements Russia's so-called "shadow fleet" of sanctions-busing oil tankers."

And this happened around Jan 15/16:  "A French Navy's Atlantique 2 Maritime Patrol Aircraft was locked by Russian S-40 air defense system while flying over international waters in the Baltic Sea...The aircraft was also subjected to jamming by the Russian, according to some reports, although this was not confirmed."  The French Minister of Armed Forces said this was Russian intimidation and was unacceptable.  "Illuminating our aircraft in international waters with radar is an aggressive action.  The professional attitude of the crew prevents any escalation."  This follows another incident "where a Russia warship operating in the Baltic Sea fired 'signal ammunition' at a German military helicopter."

The Russians can't be too happy about the anti-ship missiles that can target their ships and control their movement to and from the Atlantic/North Sea - as NATO countries are "moving to close the Baltic Sea to Russian ships in wartime."  And Russia has poor relations with Germany already - now add the Commander Task Force Baltic command center is in Rostock, Germany.

This Baltic Sentry operation is seen as "another step in the systematic military encircling of Russia by the US-led military alliance, which continues to back the far-right Ukrainian regime in a war aimed at inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia and subjugating its territory to semi-colonial status."

Close to WW3:

As the French said, it was their flight crew that 'prevented an escalation'.  All it would take is one 'misstep'.  We are THAT close to WW3.

Sweden's PM Ulf Kristersson said that "his country is not at war, but there is not peace either."

Will President Trump inherit all out - war with Russia?  Once that ball gets rolling, it will be near impossible to stop.  Several news outlets are reporting on Baltic Sentry as "moving to close the Baltic Sea to Russian ships in wartime".  So, is this operation really 'a response' to the cable sabotage and and a move to prevent future sabotage of undersea cables?  Or a pre-war move?  It certainly would be advantageous to keep some of the Russian ships out of the Atlantic and North Sea....

Looks like NATO is preparing...for war.

Everything is in God's hands.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Maranatha!
