Michael gets a little excited, but I think there's something here.  Read the item and come to your own conclusion.  His list of 14 items had maybe 9 that "everyone needs to know" but the additional speculations are ... well, speculations.

Jimmy in Memphis writes:  About a decade ago Ellie and I listened to a Geologist give an hour or so presentation on the Earthquakes of 1811-1812 which made the Mississippi River run backwards for several hours and create Reelfoot Lake. He explained that in our area of the country our soil becomes like quicksand, it liquefies therefore the ground is unstable for months or years, which makes rebuilding literally impossible.

Most of America's pipelines run from the South up toward the Northeast Corridor which would destroy our infrastructure. He estimated that literally Eight States would be destroyed if earthquakes of that magnitude were to strike the New Madrid Faultline today. He also mentioned that the 1811-1812 event happened during a Solar Minimum, and I believe we are experiencing one now.  Pray that he is mistaken. This could be a come to the Lord Jesus moment.
