Mike, I beg to disagree   My understanding is that Daniel's 70th
week/ 7 year period begins with the rapture. Then the tribulation
period begins shortly after this upon the signing of the covenant with
many with the future antichrist being one among many signing the 7
year treaty.  John says the tribulation period will be shortened
otherwise no life will be saved.  Its quite possible that there is a
couple months between the rapture and the covenant. Some say the
Tribulation is shortened by about three months.  This could still will
make Daniels 70 week pretty much still seven years, being the rapture
to second coming. Tabernacles to Tabernacles?
   Now the other gap >"supposedly"<   between Genesis 1:1 to !:2
only consists of in 1:1 Jesus says He did it, then in 1:2, He begins
telling How He did it!  >
