Hi Monica,I had a dream in the early hours of 1/18/2023. I call it the "LAS VEGAS NEVADA HALLS Dream".
There's some really valuable SPIRITUAL LESSONS the LORD showed me about this dreamthat I believe relate to your life situation Monica. In fact in part I think that's why I had this dream isbecause I have become aware of your personal spiritual battle with the DARK SIDE....
So this dream is a kind of collage or amalgamation of experiences in my life.
So in my nefarious youth before I became a Christian I was fascinated with the lure ofLAS VEGAS and gambling. I even had the crazy idea I was smart enough to beat the odds andmake a lot of money gambling there....So SATAN had me right where he wanted me at thatpoint in my life in a state of complete DECEPTION...
So when you fly into VEGAS Airport and you get off the plane you have to walk down these reallyLONG HALLS like a mile in distance before you can step out into the city of VEGAS..
So my Dream was about being TRAPPED in these HALLS and trying to get away from a groupof People ( who I now realize after I woke up from the dream were really DEMONS !! ) who keptstopping me from getting out of these HALLS.....They would trap me and then force me to PAY aTOLL just to get a little farther down the HALL and then TRAP me again and Again....Finally it dawned on me all I had to do was call on the name of JESUS to rebuke these people/DEMONSand POOF they vanished and I was FREE to get out of those HALLS....
Do you see we get TRAPPED in our own mind ( just like being trapped in these VEGAS HALLS )and we give the DARK SIDE permission to TORMENT us in these HALLS because we've lost ourfocus and attention on the LORD so much that we even forget or lose faith that we can call on thename of the LORD for help to get us out of these HALLS !!
This played out in a real world scenario in my life when I was TRAPPED in these HALLS in mymind this allowed SATAN to send a person into my life and steal my entire life savings !!!
This could NEVER have happened if my focus was on the LORD at that time, But it wasn't, itwas distracted on worldly things so when the THIEF Came to Steal I didn't even have the spiritualdiscernment to see what was happening until it was too late !!!
We have to be aware Satan is constantly trying every wily trick to get our minds OFF the LORDand onto any worldly thing that will distract us from Prayer and studying the WORD and walkingin a personal relationship with the LORD.Its a never ending battle and just when you think you're in the clear SATAN will think of anotherway to try and distract you...........In fact here's a story in the scriptures about this worldly distraction.
Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomedHim into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that mysister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” And Jesus answered and said to her,“Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, andMary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 12:38-41.
