I absolutely agree with you about anyone who will have taken the mark of the beast, they go to the lake of fire, no question.

I had wondered if some of the kings of the earth won't be antichrist worshipping devotees, like many of the others.

And wondered about that, because they apparently need substantial extra persuasion to gather their armies to Armageddon, more than simply because the antichrist said so:

Revelation 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

  14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

  16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

They will need miracle working devils, in order to get them to bring their armies to Armageddon.

For the devotees, it will probably be sufficient that the antichrist tells them to bring their armies.

But some will need lying signs and wonders, before they commit their armies.

Then I also wondered about what is said in Psalm 2.

The beginning of the Psalm does seem to fit with the gathering of the kings to Armageddon:

Psalms 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

So, I thought that possibly the end of the Psalm did as well:

Psalms 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

That if that was so, then why say it, unless their will be a chance for some kings to actually do it?
