"The wheat and the tares in the end time"

The wheat and the tares in the end time

Dear Five Doves,

We are in the end time, our beloved Lord Jesus will return, as prudent virgins I invite you to reflect on the word of God, and prepare ourselves as the faithful church of Jesus Christ, with the aim of being kept from the hour of trial. On this occasion we will review the parable of the wheat and the tares in the end time.

Jesus said:

Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

Our Lord Jesus explains the parable, declares to us that He sows the word of God in his true disciples, and his word generates fruit in us. In addition, the field is the world and the tares are the children of the evil (devil), that is, false believers.

Our Lord Jesus warns us that it is inevitable that there are false Christians (Tares) in the church (Gal. 2:4), if you have spiritual discernment you could identify people who call themselves Christians, but who are clearly rebellious, arrogant, or immoral and who they go to a church for any reason, except for wanting to be a disciple of Jesus.

As good wheat you must pray and watch (be attentive, awake, defensive) and prevent the devil from sowing Tares in your heart, tempting us to sin voluntarily, for example with pride, sexual immorality, love of money, rebellion against his word , etc., which God warns would disqualify you as a Christian (Heb. 10:26), this happens because you can fall asleep, that is, you can begin to love the temporary things of this world, your cares, your desires, and in definitively neglect your relationship with God and lose your love for Jesus.

In case you are in this condition, I beg you to order your life today, with repentance and change. If you seek the mercy of Jesus with humility and truth, his love will forgive you, his grace will strengthen you, and the Holy Spirit will help you overcome all sin

There is another type of very dangerous tares that darkness sows in Christians, and that our good Lord Jesus called it the leaven of the Pharisees (religious), and that is hypocrisy:

Luke 12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

What is hypocrisy?

It is an external appearance that you love God and obey the word of Jesus, but your actions show the opposite, that is, your fruits show that you do not love him and do not obey him from the heart.

Some believers will appeal to the grace of Jesus, and it is undeniable that we are saved by faith in Jesus, by his grace and his love, but believing Jesus implies obeying him and bearing fruit of repentance and change, in addition, our good Lord Jesus warns us :

Matthew 5:20  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

This forces us to take seriously the salvation that Jesus gives us, and that our fruit will be sanctification:

Romans 6:22  But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Sadly, hypocrisy abounds in today's Christianity, despite the fact that millions of Christians actively participate in churches, the majority still do not give their hearts (love and will) to God.

Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

There is a fundamental element that is currently missing: love for God, love for Jesus, since as a result of loving him you will obey him and have a relationship with him.

Consequently, if you do not love Jesus, you will not be able to fully obey God:

Our Lord Jesus said to the church of Ephesus:

Revelation 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

You must love Jesus, he must be your first love, he gave his life dying on a cross to save you, he deserves all your love!

We love our God the Father, because he loved us so much that he gave his son Jesus to save us, he gives us life, he provides us, he sent us the beloved Holy Spirit to dwell in our lives, he deserves all our love!

The Pharisees and religious did not love Jesus, they were hypocrites because they said they loved God, but they did not love his son Jesus Christ, for this reason, although they did many works (prayed, fasted, tithed, etc.), but they were not sheep of Jesus and they were not saved.

Remember:

Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

If you love Jesus you will believe (faith) him as a child, and as a result you will obey him, you will seek him, you will consecrate yourself to God, and you will bear fruit, you will be wheat!

If we go back to the initial biblical text of the parable of the wheat and the tares, we now see the mercy of God:

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

God is good and grants time, so that those Christians who act as if they were tares repent, become Christians who truly love God and obey Jesus with all their hearts.

Our beloved Lord Jesus ends by declaring:

Matthew 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

At the second coming of our Lord Jesus, the truth will be exposed in the hearts of all people, and he also adds:

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The words used by our beloved Lord Jesus may sound harsh, but you must understand that Jesus loves us and he does not want false disciples, it is sad to think that today millions of believers attend churches, and many of them believe they know Jesus, but never they have met him.

Knowing Jesus implies a love relationship, a daily spiritual relationship, it implies knowing him through the Holy Spirit, it is a relationship, not a religion.

Knowing Jesus implies losing your life for him, yielding your will to God, allowing God to take control and direct your projects and desires, the above translates into asking God's will and waiting for his answer, and allowing God to guide you through his Holy Spirit and his word.

We are in the end time, in a countdown before the hour of trial begins, in the coming years we will see a progressive increase in violence and evil throughout the world, more war, pestilence and a serious economic crisis will be unleashed.

Don't be fooled, things won't get better. Your only refuge is Jesus Christ, God will be our protection!

We must remain in the vine that is Jesus Christ, and like branches depend more each day on Jesus, love and obey him, and our God and Father will cleanse us (John 15:1-2)

Remember that we are in the end time, I encourage you to be a spiritual part of the faithful church of Philadelphia, you do not need to have great strength or human power, but you must love God, love Jesus, you must have a daily relationship with God through Jesus, and his grace will strengthen you, and the Holy Spirit will help you so that you can obey his word, and in response to your faithfulness Jesus will keep you from the hour of trial.

Blessings in Christ Jesus,
