Matthew 24:15-20
begins with telling about the abomination of
desolation standing in the holy place which is the
image of the beast (Antichrist) at which time those
in Judea are told to flee into the mountains which
is described in Matt. 24:16-20. Then Matt. 24:21
says, "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be
shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's
sake those days shall be
shortened." (There is going to be great
tribulation for those who remain in Israel
because the Antichrist during the great
tribulation will kill those who do not
worship him and his image who also will not
take the mark of the beast in the forehead
or the hand. They will be hunted down,
persecuted and killed. These verses have
nothing to do with the Gog-Magog war.)
Matt.
24:23-26 then tells about false prophets and false
Christs that shall show great signs and wonders
and if it were possible, they shall deceive the
very elect. According to 2 Thess. 2:9, it is
the son of perdition (the Antichrist) who will
have power and show signs and do lying
wonders. Rev. 13:12-13 shows the False
Prophet exercising all the power of the first
beast (Antichrist) and also doing great wonders.
Matt.
24:29-31 states, "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be
shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall
gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."
(Immediately after the tribulation of those
days refers to the previous days of
tribulation when saints had been martyred
for their faith and killed by the Antichrist
for not worshipping him and his image and
not taking his mark in the forehead or in
the hand. These verses have nothing to do
with the Gog-Magog War. Those days
will be shortened by Jesus at the sixth seal
coming in the clouds to take any remaining
elect alive all over the world to heaven
along with resurrecting those seen under the
altar when the 5th seal was opened or none
will be left alive on Earth. They are all
seen in heaven as the great multitude who
came out of great tribulation according to
Rev. 7:14.
As for the armies
surrounding Jerusalem in Luke 21:20-24 from
which those in Judea are to flee from and go
into the mountains, the armies are the
armies of the Antichrist (the Little Horn)
who enters into Jerusalem and Jerusalem is
trodden down by the gentiles until the times
of the gentiles be fulfilled. Also
according to Daniel 11:41-45 Jerusalem is
where he sets up his palace in the glorious
holy mountain. Then Daniel 12:1-2
continues on by saying, "And at that
time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which
standeth for the children of thy
people: and there shall be a time of
trouble, such as never was since
there was a nation even to that
same time: and at that time thy
people shall be delivered, every one
that shall be found written in the
book. And many of them
that sleep in the
dust of the earth shall
awake, some to everlasting life, and
some to shame and everlasting contempt."
("The time of trouble, such as never
was a nation even to that same time"
is referring to the great tribulation
period of 1,260 days when the
Antichrist sets up his image in the
holy place in Jerusalem and kills
those who refuse to worship him and
his image.)
If
the Gog-Magog war was described in these above
Bible verses as the great tribulation as you
claim, then why are those living in Judea told to
flee to the mountains when the abomination of
desolation (the image of the beast is set up at
the beginning of the Antichrist's reign of 1,260
days) which you said happens after the Gog-Magog
war? According to Ezekiel 39:1-5, the
Gog-Magog armies are turned back by God &
defeated and fall on the mountains of
Israel. Then Ezekiel 39:6-7 says, "And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that
dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will
not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the
heathen shall
know that
I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel."
Since everyone will then know that I Am The
LORD, then none in Israel and none of the
heathen would be worshipping the Antichrist
and his image and taking his mark in the
right hand or forehead in order to buy or
sell if the Antichrist entered Jerusalem and
set up his image after the Gog-Magog
war. Also according to Ezekiel
38:19-20, there is going to be a great
earthquake that takes place at the time of
the Gog-Magog war and the mountains are
thrown down and every wall shall fall to the
ground so the Antichrist would be entering
Jerusalem with all its walls fallen down
including the temple walls where he plans to
sit showing himself that he is God according
to 2 Thess. 2:3-4 if he were to arrive in
Jerusalem after the Gog-Magog war takes
place. So why do you keep insisting
that the Gog-Magog war takes place before
the Antichrist enters Jerusalem and sets up
his image (the abomination of desolation) in
the holy place (temple)?
