I totally agree about the 2k years. Another interesting one is the transfiguration. It says, "After 6 days" Jesus took Peter, James, and John (3/12 apostles, firstfruits?) "up" a high mountain and was transfigured just like our bodies will be at the rapture. I believe this is saying 6k years from Adam.

In the feast of Unleavened Bread, the bread is divided into 3 parts. The middle part called the afikomen is striped, pierced, covered in linen, hidden away, and then found amid great rejoicing! Speaks for itself.

Then there is the "to the Jew first" verse/s signifying the Jewish dispensation of 2k years from Abraham to Jesus. Jesus comes at the 4k year point, finishing the Jewish dispensation and starting the Gentile 2k year dispensation. When Jesus heard about Lazarus and "tarried 2 more days" meaning he got there after 4 days (4k years from Adam, end of the Jewish dispensation) and raised Lazarus from the dead "for the glory of God!"
