How long does it take the Jews to build the third temple?


Three years according to Amos 4:4.


Amos 4:4 bring your sacrifice every morning, and your tithes after three years.


From Daniel 2300 days, we learn that there will be 2300 evenings and mornings sacrifice once the daily sacrifice is reinstituted by the Jews.
 They shall restore the daily sacrifice after they witness the battle of Gog/Magog. They want to give glory to God after God saves them from the hand of Gog and his army. But this evening and morning sacrifice shall be interrupted by Anti Christ in mid-trib,
 when he abolishes this daily sacrifice by breaking the covenant. From the first day this evening and morning sacrifice is reinstituted, up to sanctuary is cleansed, there shall be 2300 days. These 2300 days overlap the first half and second half of tribulation.
 Will God favor their evening and morning sacrifice, or will God abhor their feast?


The Coming Judgment against Israel


Amos 5:16 Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways,
 Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.


17 And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.


When shall this judgment against Israel occur?


18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.


19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.


20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?


This judgment shall take place during the Day of the Lord, that is, the second half of tribulation, when the Jews are under persecution by
 Satan and Antichrist. God went on to say he despised their feast.


21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.


22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat
 beasts.

23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.


God despises their feast because they still reject Jesus as their Messiah. They thought by bringing back the feast and daily sacrifice, they
 can restore the relationship with God. This wrong thinking leads to the coming judgment against Israel in the Day of the Lord. But there is an interesting verse I found in Amos 4.

Amos 4:1 Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say
 to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.


2 The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity
 with fishhooks.


3 And ye shall go out at the breaches, every cow at that which is before her; and ye shall cast them into the palace, saith the LORD.

4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:

"Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifice every morning, and your tithes after three years"

Some bible commentary dated this event back to Deuteronomy 26:12 when the Law required a tithe for every three years. But here's a question.
 God says they bring their sacrifice every morning during these three years. According to Samuel 1:3, 1:7, and 1:21, back then they only bring the sacrifice once a year, not every morning. So far there is no common consensus on a valid interpretation of this
 verse. Some bible commentary even interpreted as tithes every third day.

Here's my thought. "and bring your sacrifice every morning, and your tithe after three years" points to the first half of tribulation At the
 beginning of their daily sacrifice, they don't have their temple yet. They sacrifice the animals in Bethel and Gilgal by setting up temporary tents there.

"and your tithes after three years"


After three years of sacrificing the animals in Bethel and Gilgal, the third temple is complete. This is the time the Jews can enter third
 temple, and give their tithes to God. "and your tithe after three years" speaks of them start giving tithes after three years of sacrificing animals in Bethel and Gilgal, because now the third temple is ready and complete. It is the tradition of the Jews that
 they give tithes when they visit the temple. Without the temple, they can't give tithes because in ancient times, there is no modern day money transfer, or writing a cheque to their priests. They have to physically enter the temple to give their tithes to
 their priests. By using "your tithes after three years", God wants to tell us it shall take the Jews three years to build their temple. It also speaks of the Jews shall spend three years in Bethel and Gilgal, sacrificing the animals, before they can enter
 the third temple to give the tithes.


Question is, will God be pleased with them even though tithes is given in third temple?

Amos 4:4 Come to Bethel, and transgress; at Gilgal multiply transgression; and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after
 three years:

5 And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel,
 saith the Lord GOD.

God sees them coming to Bethel and Gilgal to transgress. and God also sees their sacrifice mixed with leaven, because they still reject Jesus
 as their Messiah. This leads to the subsequent judgment on Israel and the Jews.


6 And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me,
 saith the LORD.


7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and
 caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.



8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the
 LORD.



9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the
 palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.



10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses;
 and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.



11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye
 not returned unto me, saith the LORD.



12 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.


"Have ye not returned to me, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel".
