(Is this speaking about Jesus sitting on the cloud?)

Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

  15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

  16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

(It says that he that sat upon the cloud is one “like unto the Son of man”:)

Revelation 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Matthew 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

(If I stopped right there, the answer to me would be, “Of course it is Jesus sitting on that cloud”.

But why I even asked the question, is the way that, “another angel”, speaks to the one sitting on the cloud.

The angel commands, or directs, the one sitting on the cloud, to thrust in his sickle.

Unless I have missed it, I cannot find another place in scriptures, where an angel tells Jesus to do something, and then he obeys.

In his earthly ministry, didn’t Jesus always do the Father’s will, rather than an angel’s?

Also, in Revelation 5, and beyond, angels reverence and worship Jesus, rather than ever talking to him like that.

Ok, it could be said that the angel was merely conveying the Father’s will, but that seems not to be the way it is done elsewhere.

If it is Jesus sitting on the cloud, then is this the only place in the scriptures where Jesus is told what to do by an angel?

If so, it really seems odd to me, and certainly not the normal way that angels speak to Jesus.
