" IN THE WORLD YOU SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION "........ John 16:33

The "tribulation" spoken of in John 16:33 IS NOT the wrath of God tribulation,  but rather it is speaking of the trouble, ie. tribulation, caused  by mankind. A prime example of this kind of tribulation is the hyper-inflationary economy we are now experiencing because of a "perfect storm" of events happening all at once. Before the pandemic hit the U.S. economy, the Government was spending and borrowing way too much money causing the annual deficit to reach one trillion dollars. The current national debt is now 29.5 trillion dollars requiring a one billion dollars per day interest payment. 

When the Democrats took office in January of 2021 the U.S. inflation rate was 1.4 % , and one year later in January of 2022 the inflation rate climbed to 7 % which is an increase of 5X or a 500% increase in the rate of inflation. This is primarily due to the Democrat's  change in domestic policies such as the energy policy. Before  Biden took office the U.S. was energy independent  and was even an oil exporter for the first time. After taking office in January 2021 Biden shut down the oil pipeline, and resumed buying and importing oil from OPEC , ie. Saudi Arabia. Before Biden took office crude oil was $ 54. per barrel , and now it is $ 87. per  barrel only one year later. That is an increase of 60 % in one year. Because of that hyper-inflationary increase in crude oil price the price of everything connected to the price of oil also went up including gasoline, food, home energy cost, etc.,  etc. 

You can reasonably guess where we are headed from here. There is no reason to think that the current hyper-inflation of consumer prices will not continue to go up at a rapid rate. If they continue at the present rate one year from now the U.S. hyper- inflation rate will be 14 %. The next two years of 2022 and 2023 and beyond will very likely be a time of " TRIBULATION IN THE WORLD".
