"RE: John Tng: 12.27.20: Paul N. F: Repentance is rare"

John,
That repost of Paul N. F. was really good, thank you for putting that up there.
I'm so often guilty of not having a true heart of repentance when I should.
I realize that the main point was regarding salvation.
However, Jesus told the five, of the seven churches in Asia, that he rebuked, to repent.
Repentance is a missing doctrine today.
Repentance is missing in my life too often.
I need to repent during the day, and sometimes, again for something I previously repented of.
If it is to be so between brethren, in Luke 17, then how much more between us and Jesus?

Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
