Every time the Middle East arena becomes front page news the 5Doves participants start lighting up the site with speculation that the Ezekiel 38-39 war is to be soon in the offing.......and for many years I myself banged that very same drum due to the overwhelming belief that this war was to take place in this time era. There seemed to be unanimous consent across Christian circles that this was the case. It seemed to be a poured in concrete fact without dispute...... so why refute it or waste time researching it if this assumption was a reality.
But a year or two ago I took a deep dive into Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 20 and because of what I found I am convinced that this well accepted belief is a fallacy. A fallacy because scripture... God's word.... tells us a much different story.
Would you Doves as Christians agree that the wording and the consequences of the wording in Ezekiel 38-39 and Revelation 20 concerning the Gog Magog event have to be exactly correct ......that there couldn't be verses within those texts that made no sense or didn't fit the exact situation??.....that God's words were incorrect somehow?? That a square peg had to be pounded into a round hole to make God's words there fit the present day scenario.
I believe you would all say that every one of God's words within these chapters have to fit exactly with the circumstances. If they don't, either God's a liar..... or somebody or a lot of somebodies are wrong with their discernment related to this topic line. And we know God is not a liar so lets delve into the wording of these chapters for clarity on all of this.
Ezekiel 38:8 says that these people that are to be attacked....all of them, are dwelling safely. Verse 11 says that these are peaceful people living in a land (country) of unwalled villages. That they are dwelling safely without walls, without bars and without security gates.
These two verses and the descriptions there within couldn't be farther from the truth. Father from the reality of the conditions within the Jewish state of Israel in this present age.
Nowhere that I am aware of (on all of earth) are there more walls, bars, gates and a greater security system than present day Israel. So to discount verse 8 and 11 of God's words in Ezekiel 38 and proclaim that the Ezekiel 38-39 war is imminent or shortly in the offing in the Middle East is complete biblical blasphemy ...IMHO
Now lets look at Revelation 20 which also mirrors Ezekiel 38-39. There in verse 7 God says that this event, this war including Gog and Magog as primary players happens... “when the thousand years have expired” or at the end of the millennial reign.
This seemingly agrees with Ezekiel 38:16 where God says that this event happens....”in the latter days”.
In Ezekiel 39:4 God says that Gog and all his forces will die upon the mountains of Israel and as per verse 11 God will give Gog a burial place there in Israel.
So....if the death and burial of Gog and his forces were to happen now in this era of time how would that ever square up with what God tells us in Revelation 20 that this all happens …..”when the thousand years have expired”??
In Revelation 20, at the end of the thousand years, when Israel is attacked there appear to be few if any casualties on Israel's part. God just sends fire down from heaven to devour the combatants.
Contrast that with what the bible says about our era of time when Israel is attacked and then...... only a remnant survives.
Scripture indicates that during the era of time that we are living in....... it will be all nations coming against Israel when Israel is attacked......not just the few listed in Ezekiel 38 and 39.

So... at this time in history (right now) what would prompt all nations or “The United Nations” to collectively attack Israel?
Does Israel kill thousands or millions of people by releasing nuclear weapons against her enemies (the Islamic world) in an effort to survive? And could that survival scenario as viewed by the rest of the world, after Trump is gone (100 million dollar bounty on his assassination)) be considered so egregious as to prompt the eradication of Israel once and for all.
I believe we are on the cusp of the the arrival of the two witnesses and the antichrist who both conduct their ministries concurrently. In which case the antichrist could be the one pulling the world strings to eradicate Israel once and for all after he has mesmerized all the countries into following him through his lying signs and wonders.
…...”So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?......
It's obvious from this quote in Revelation 13 that the antichrist gave or will give the people of earth a demo of his extreme Satanic power which the dragon, Satan, shared with him or worked through him.
So in conclusion....do not look for a Ezekiel 38-39 war or the details of that war happening for another 1000 years. But do look for the two witnesses and the antichrist to show up soon on the world scene. And do look for Israel to react in what I believe will be a survival event (Iran?) which will then seemingly justify.... The United Nations (and the antichrist's) into a plan to eradicate Israel.
And as per scripture God the Father waits until all seems lost before He intervenes for Israel and saves just a remnant of it's population.
This arrival by the Father to intervene (and Jesus) will be the wrath period discussed extensively all over scripture as....The Day of the Lord.
It will include all of the things I have been writing about recently concerning the Father moving His kingdom to a new heavily secured valley compound He creates in the Middle East. As per Zechariah14, Isaiah 25...etc. Etc.
