We are told to "watch" for HIS coming.
A modern watch (noun) is to keep time, usually attached to a wrist. Watch (verb) is to pay attention, carefully observe and keep track of something, of events and time. The greek word for "watch " is "Gregoreo" , which possibly hints to observe the "Gregorian" calendar. Strong's word G1127.
Last week (link below) we noted that Daniel 10 described what would happen in "the latter days", at a time "far off" (10:14). Daniel is the ONLY prophet which the Messiah pointed to in his Olivet discourse on the latter days. Mt 24:15. It was in the "THIRD" year of King Cyrus (10:1). Counting from the first Israeli Knesset (++), it is exactly 70 years, a generation (Psalm 90:10) and a 21 day delay (10:2) which would end on 1-24-2020.
President Trump and Cyrus share many common traits as friends of Israel. Trump is now nearing the end of his THIRD year , like Cyrus. Daniel says it was the 24th day of a first month.(10:4). We are to "watch" (Gregoreo) . Think Gregorian calendar.... First Month.... for " the latter days".
Now, if we go back 1127 DAYS from January 24, 2020 ( G1127 is "WATCH") we arrive at December 23, 2016. That date is Hanukkah Eve. It is also EXACTLY 9 months - conception time to birth - before the Revelation 12 GREAT SIGN, a birthing sign. ** The GREAT SIGN was September 23, 2017 , now two years ago. Thirdly, it is the same day that Barack Obama sabotaged Israel in the United Nations with passage of resolution 2334. Resolution 2334 condemned Israel for its settlements after 1967 , including in East Jerusalem.
Daniel 8: 14 says that it shall be 2,300 or 2,200 ( different texts vary) mornings and evenings ( 1,150 or 1,100 days) "then shall the sanctuary be cleansed". If we go back 1,100 days from 1-24-2020 it is 1-19-2017 , Obama's final day in office. President Trump was inaugurated the next day. See the link below for more on Daniel 8 , a difficult text.
January 25,1949 was the first Israeli election. David Ben Gurion was elected Prime Minister. So Jan 25, 2020 will end the 70th year since that first vote.
(++) The first Israeli Knesset met on 6 Tevet 1950 . Dec 26, 1950. 6 Tevet in 2020 is January 3,2020. Adding 21 days is Jan. 24, 2020.
** The GREAT SIGN in the heavens of Rev 12 began on Nov 16, 2016 when a "conception" comet and Jupiter , the king planet, also entered Virgo's womb area where it remained until September 23,2017.
