We all know that Our Lord told us to beware
of deceivers in the last days.
Matthew 24:4.
I did expect that warning to pertain to
cults, but I get jarred when deception
(being misled) comes from internet teachers
that I have trusted for months.
One is now saying, loudly, "We *must*
unify...all the Christians and all Jews.
We must. "Forget about doctrine and
differences"
Whoa! I hear that as a loud political cry
wanting strength in religious numbers for political clout.
Jesus said "My kingdom is *not* of this
world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would
fight" John 18:36
We are being brain- washed into thinking
that one person alone--- a politician--- can
save us from the evils of this day.
It may seem so, but being warned beforehand
(Matthew 24:25), then every politician should be suspect.
The more boastful, the more we need a magnifying glass.
This is what the LORD said to Zechariah
4:6....
"Not by might (numbers), nor by power, but
by My Spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." (Prayer)
Whenever people get insistent upon one
person to save all, they are bordering on idolatry.
"The hand of the LORD is not shortened that
He cannot save."
Isaiah 59:1
Another internet teacher actually said this
:
" we are to love people more than God".
Jesus told the Ephesian
Church....
"You have left your first love"
Ephesians 2:4
Our *first* love is, and always will be,
Almighty
God.
