This coming Monday we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, who was martyred for trying to bring a peaceful brotherhood to our nation.

He was a devout man who wrote spiritual letters from jail, as did the Apostle Paul.

We admire him for his courage to stand up for his people's civil rights

in the face of his enemies, knowing he would be arrested.

Even so, he was a peace-loving man.
