"RE: John B: Zechariah 14:4"

Gino.....I attempted to answer you questions below within your script. My replies are in red. Hope these responses and my recent posts have shed a better revelation as to what appears will happen around the mid point of the 7 year period....... which if God's “hints” in Psalm 119 prove to be correct could start in approximately 6 weeks time. If you see popes start dying it will be time for the watchmen to sound the alarm.

Blessings Gino......John B

John,
For a number of weeks, now, you have referenced the following:

Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

You mentioned how the result will be a safe place, between.
Also, you mentioned, most of those times, that it will be God who steps on the mount of Olives, and mentioned even the Father.
Do you not believe that the Son will be the one who steps on the mount of Olives?
I had often considered Zechariah 14:4 together with:

Gino....It's my belief that it's God the Father who steps on the Mount of Olives and splits it. I believe scripture portrays that it is... He.... God the father, who has the covenant with the Jews. And at this particular time the Jews will be under attack by “all nations” (Zech.14:2) and as a result will almost be completely wiped out before God intervenes. And I believe it's God the Father who intervenes by stepping on the Mount of Olives and creating this new very large valley which immediately becomes a safe protection zone for the fleeing Jews...... this Jewish remnant whose names appear in the book (Daniel 12). In doing so He, the Father will be fulfilling His part of the covenant agreement.
That said though....it appears that Jesus will also be present at this time frame. A time frame referred to as The Day of the Lord. We learn in Habakkuk 3 that both God (God the Father) and Jesus (The Holy One) will be here together both intervening and dispensing wrath. This is also portrayed in Revelation 6 during the sixth seal which is yet another parcel and another overview of The Day of the Lord. There also we see both God the Father and Jesus here on earth involved at the same time. The text reads.....”hide us from Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of The Lamb.

Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
12 ¶ Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.

I had thought that Jesus would come back to the mount of Olives, similar to how he left.
I had also thought that Zechariah was speaking about the time of the second advent of Jesus, like mentioned in chapter 12:

Gino....this new security zone within this new valley appears to include all of the real estate of which you speak....(Acts 1) If you read my post from last week where I described Jacob's role in all of this it appears that whole area west of Jerusalem was or is to become hallowed ground. There is more verbiage in scripture about this area than anywhere else on earth. …..Mount of Olives, Mount Zion,
And if you read my recent posts you know that I portrayed what I believe scripture says in that....... we the Christian church are gathered there in this new valley to be “born again” in the blood and Spirit of Jesus which He deposited there at His crucifixion 2000 years ago. We will also be protected there until the air space above this valley is secured. (Satan the prince of the power of the air)
At that point, when the security has been established, we rise to meet Jesus in the air above this valley. He is coming down to meet us......just the way He up from the same spot / location 2000 years ago.....as you alluded to from Acts. In like manor as He rose in Acts, He will descend to meet us in the clouds as per Thessalonians.

Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

If Zechariah 14:4 is not speaking about the second advent of Jesus, then where does Jesus return to, at the second advent?

Gino....the second advent to me means... when Jesus returns to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords at the end of the 7 year tribulation period accompanied by the armies of heaven (the Church) dressed in fine white linen. By this point between the wrath of God and the Lamb and the wrath of Satan and his “grounded forces”during the second half of the 7 year period...... very few people will even be alive on earth..... as indicated in scripture. This is all portrayed in Revelation 19: 11-21 and Isaiah 11:3-5 where the Satanic forces of the antichrist and false prophet (and their armies) will engage with Jesus and His army. As per verse 21 the bad guys will be conquered simply by Jesus “speaking it so.” “And out of His mouth went a sharp sword, that with it He could strike the nations”......”And the rest were killed by the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse “

In Ezekiel's time, the glory of the LORD departed from the temple and then from the mount of Olives.

Gino....I believe this quote from Ezekiel is referring to the Ark of the Covenant being removed from the temple and then removed from the Mount of Olives. Removed and taken to Ethiopia. There are two passages I found in scripture as to the Ethiopians returning this Ark after the new valley and security zone is established. You will see the verbiage of it's return in Isaiah 18:7 and also Zephaniah 3:13

Ezekiel 8:6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.

Ezekiel 9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;

Ezekiel 10:18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

Ezekiel 11:22 ¶ Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

A few days before his crucifixion, Jesus departed from the temple, and then forty days after his resurrection, he departed from the mount of Olives.

Gino.....as I stated above I believe that where Jesus departed after His resurrection (from the Mount of Olives) will be the same location (within this new protected valley) where the Christian Church will rise to meet Jesus in the air.

Matthew 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Matthew 24:1 ¶ And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Acts 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Acts 1:12 ¶ Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.

(This was also earlier somewhat pictured by David leaving Jerusalem when Absalom came to Jerusalem)

Anyway, since the Lord left that way, I had thought that he would come back that way, via the mount of Olives.

Gino.....you are absolutely correct, Jesus (just like He went up) will drift down from the clouds above this new security zone to meet His church in the air. This new valley / security zone will have within it, as per Zechariah 14, half of Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives.

But if not there, then where?  temple mount?  Bethlehem?  Nazareth?  valley of Jezreel?  hill of Megiddo?  Petra?  Bozrah?
However, clearly not to Rome or Salt Lake City  :^)
