Garry: You asked about the question being asked in Daniel
12:6-7. The answer given was "a time, times and half a
time".
The answer has its counterpart in Revelation 12:6, Matthew
24:21; Isaiah 62:2c. It refers to "great tribulation", the
time of Jacob's trouble (Jeremiah 30:7, Daniel 12:1; Psalm 20),
the second half of Daniel's 70th week (Daniel 9:27)
I wonder about "these wonders". What are they? Are
they (1) Michael and the angelic host standing up for the Jew in
tribulation, (2) the deliverance and salvation of the "people of
the book" (the seed of Jacob); (3) resurrection of righteousness
referred to in verse 3? There appear to be two
resurrections referenced here in verse 2 and 3, resurrection of
damnation and resurrection of righteousness. Then, there
is the question of "shutting up" and "sealing of the
book". Perhaps we just see dimly now, but later will know
when He appears to us.
