Because it is God's war, from start to
finish, and it is the LAST SIGN to the watching church of
our pending rapture:
God tells us that He will begin the
war exactly on the day when He wants it to begin :
"I will bring you, O Gog, against My
land..." Ezekiel 38:16
God tells us that He will end the
war exactly on the day when He wants it to end :
"I will knock the bow out of your
left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your
right hand. You shall fall upon the mountains of
Israel...." Ezekiel 39:3
"Surely it is coming and it shall be
done, says the Lord God. It is THE DAY of which I have
spoken." Ezekiel 39:8
"When I have brought them back from
the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies
lands, and I am sanctified in them IN THE SIGHT OF
MANY GENTILES then they shall know that I am
Lord their God..." Ezekiel 39:27-28
The above Scripture tells us that
God gathered the Jews from all over the world, brought
them back into their promised land in 1948-49, and then
He will tribulate them with the Gog-Magog War in the
future so that they shall know that He is their Lord God
; and He will cause these events to happen as a VISUAL
SIGN to the watching Gentile Church of their
pending rapture.
