I want to thank everyone that prayed for Andrew, his wife and two sons when I sent out the initial request before Christmas.  They have performed several procedures and found what they believe to be a cancerous tumor on his pancreas.  If it is limited to that location he has a good chance of success if he survives a Whipple procedure which is a 4-8 hour surgery.  His surgery begins in several minutes.  There is about a 75% success rate without complications however there can be extreme complications from the procedure.  Please lift him and his family up in your prayers.

Andrew has emerged from his surgery and the report from one of our sister's in law that were there when he came out of the recovery room is all is well.  His surgery took longer due to his extensive scarring but he did not need any transfusions.  We will have to wait to see if there is any leakage but at the moment all appears well.
